The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Berry lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Berry.

John Berry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cletus Mastadon.

Berry shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mastadon eats them both and turns towards Berry to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mastadon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Berry defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Berry is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Berry has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mastadon defend it? Berry steps over the head and cranks it - Mastadon is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Berry!
