Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Imran Shaah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dejan Pesovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaah comes to the cage accompanied by Time to Say Goodbye. Dejan Pesovic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaah shoots in and drives through. Pesovic sprawls well.

Shaah closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pesovic to the mat! Pesovic manages to get full guard.
Shaah scoring with punches to the head and body.
Shaah landing with the ground and pound.
Pesovic can't keep his opponent in guard - Shaah advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Shaah is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pesovic doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shaah.

Shaah is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pesovic is just riding it out for now. Shaah eventually gives up the hold.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pesovic holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Shaah passes to full mount!
Shaah lands a big shot there that rocks Pesovic but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Shaah jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Pesovic manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Pesovic takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Shaah working the ground and pound from side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shaah throws a strike aimed at the side of Pesovic's head but Pesovic avoids it well.
Shaah lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pesovic down.

Pesovic is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Shaah has hold of Pesovic's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pesovic seems comfortable defending it but Shaah has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pesovic is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pesovic is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Shaah couldn't care less - he's delighted!
