Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Will Saver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Stand your ground" by Acarine. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will Saver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Steve Montenegro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Saver is fending him off so far but Sanchez persists. Nope, Saver circles away and we're back to standing.
Saver lands a nice shot that snaps Sanchez's head back.
Sanchez fails with the takedown.
Saver moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sanchez darts in and clinches Saver up against the cage.
Saver prevents Sanchez from breaking the clinch.
Sanchez struggles to land a body shot inside as Saver controls his hands.
Sanchez throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Sanchez misses with a punch on the inside.
Saver keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sanchez's efforts to push away.
Saver is working for takedown but Sanchez is calmly controlling the position for now.
Sanchez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Saver is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Will Saver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Sanchez.
Sanchez tightens his grip and picks Saver up, before dumping him to the ground. Saver manages to land in guard.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Saver keeps moving.
Saver wants to sweep here but Sanchez controlling him for the moment.
Saver is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Saver has control of Sanchez's left arm, preventing Sanchez from doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sanchez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Saver sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sanchez somewhat.
Sanchez throws a left and a right that both miss
and Saver counters with a nice uppercut.
Sanchez looks gassed!
Sanchez takes one to the chin there.
Sanchez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Saver makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Saver connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sanchez momentarily.
Saver cracks Sanchez with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sanchez has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sanchez there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sanchez is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Saver walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Sanchez drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Saver swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Sanchez's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Saver!
