Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iivana Evil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Mushroomhead. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Iivana Evil enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Iivana Evil!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Evil.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Evil bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A jab from Evil does it's job there.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jones trying to mount his opponent but Evil defends it.
Evil misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Evil is defending well.
Jones is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evil is looking to improve his position.
Jones looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Evil with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Evil is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Evil buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.

Evil swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Iivana Evil is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Evil tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Evil's corner calls for a 1-2. Evil obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Evil moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Evil is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.
Evil looks gassed!
Jones is nestled in close to Evil, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jones is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Evil takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Evil is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Evil is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea.

Jones is working for a guillotine from mount but Evil frees his head quite easily.
Evil tries to reverse the position but Jones maintains control.
Evil regains half guard.
Evil tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg.
Evil is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Evil is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.
Evil doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Evil working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Evil has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle.
Jones postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones lands with a hook. Evil tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Jones gets the takedown into side control.
Evil is looking for a sweep.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jim Jones will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Evil swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Evil looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Evil keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Evil fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.

Jones works to advance to full mount. Evil defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Evil is looking to get to half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jones lands a nice short elbow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Evil won't allow Jones to pass to mount.

Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Evil is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea.
Evil bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Evil throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
The crowd cheers as Evil lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jones doesn't seem phased though.

Jones takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jones is rocked!
Evil throws an overhand right that has Jones reeling! Evil follows up with a more punches and Jones is out cold! This one is all over!
