The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonaza throws a head kick that Whittaker semi-blocks.
Whittaker throws a combination that misses
and Bonaza counters with a slapping leg kick.
Whittaker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bonaza counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Whittaker on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Whittaker swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bonaza counters with a nice body shot.
Bonaza connects with the punch.
Nice uppercut there from Bonaza.
Bonaza lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Whittaker looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bonaza throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bonaza with a nice cross.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bonaza.
Bonaza thuds his right hand into Whittaker's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bonaza throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Whittaker.

It looks like Jermaine Whittaker has been cut.
Bonaza dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bonaza pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Whittaker back to the cage. Bonaza follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Whittaker is rocked!
The fighters circle, before Bonaza throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Whittaker's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Bonaza lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
