Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryti defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lukottaja.
Lukottaja misses with a two punch combination.
Ryti slaps away a takedown attempt from Lukottaja, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lukottaja closes the distance and clinches up with Ryti, looking for a takedown. Lukottaja pushes Ryti against the cage but Ryti circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lasse Lukottaja. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lukottaja shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ryti defends it nicely.
Ryti scores with a nice right hand.
Lukottaja steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ryti.

Ryti has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ryti lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lukottaja backwards.
Lukottaja changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ryti fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lukottaja digs a good hook to Ryti's body.
Lukottaja shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ryti cracks Lukottaja with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Ryti moves into the clinch successfully.
Ryti digs a right hand underneath Lukottaja's ribcage. Lukottaja let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Lukottaja is breathing heavily.

Ryti breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lukottaja takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ryti throws a shot to the body.
Lukottaja takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ryti shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lukottaja's guard.

Lukottaja is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Let's hope that Ryti has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Timo Ryti hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Ryti looks to land a combination but Lukottaja avoids it well.
Ryti throws a jab when Lukottaja was well out of range.
Ryti jabs at Lukottaja's body.
Ryti thuds a left hand into Lukottaja's body.
Lukottaja takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ryti bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lukottaja's head.

Ryti drops Lukottaja with a beautiful combination! Lukottaja stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ryti is looking for the KO!
Oh Lukottaja is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ryti lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lukottaja seems to have got his legs back now.
Ryti darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Lukottaja's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Ryti before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
