And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Scott!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bummin wants to clinch.

Scott feints and as Bummin raises his hands in defense, Scott changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Scott connects with a couple of short punches.
Scott is fighting to break Bummin's control of his arms but Bummin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

and Scott counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Scott thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bummin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bummin tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Bummin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Scott is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bummin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Scott's back instead.

Scott drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scott jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bummin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Scott drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bummin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Scott's best efforts.

Scott looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bummin moves into full guard.
Scott would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bummin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bummin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Scott is looking for a sweep. Bummin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Scott is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Bummin pulls his head out easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scott can do anything to dispel that myth.

Scott scores with a one two! Bummin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Scott has gone for a leg lock! Bummin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Scott's guard.
Scott looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bummin is one step ahead there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Scott looking for a triangle here. Bummin is fighting it but it looks tight! Scott pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Bummin is tapping out - this one is all over!
