The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montelibano misses with a jab, cross combination.
Montelibano misses with a wild body shot.
A left lands for Montelibano.
Montelibano has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Montelibano throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Angel Rivera has been cut.
Montelibano throws a combination. Rivera tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rivera dodges the punch combination from Montelibano.
Montelibano moves into range and connects with a jab.
Montelibano misses with a body shot.
Rivera is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Montelibano rushes Rivera with punches - Rivera moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Rivera goes down! Montelibano follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
