The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bambrough keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Melvin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bambrough moves away.
Melvin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Melvin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bambrough.
Melvin throws a head kick but Bambrough moves out of range.
Bambrough throws a left that rocks Melvin and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bambrough dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Melvin regain composure!

Melvin is rocked!

It looks like Sherman Melvin has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bambrough advances to full mount.
Oh Melvin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Melvin tries to hold on but Bambrough pushes him away.
Bambrough looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bambrough working the ground and pound effectively.
Bambrough controlling from the full mount.
Melvin seems to have got his legs back now.
Let's hope that Bambrough has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Despite being in the dominant position, Dan Bambrough just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A jab from Bambrough does it's job there.
Melvin throws an off balance right hand
and Bambrough counters with a right hand from hell and Melvin is out cold! A vicious knockout!
