Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barney Siggas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Godley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Siggas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Teach me how 2 BARNEY. Chris Godley will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godley throws a head kick but Siggas moves out of range.
Godley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Godley misses with a head kick.

Godley drives through with a takedown into guard.

Godley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Siggas dives on top into guard.

Godley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Godley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Siggas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Siggas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Siggas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Siggas drops back looking for a leg! Godley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Godley manages to kick Siggas off! Siggas jumps back into Godley's guard.

Godley looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Siggas has picked Godley up and slammed him! Godley can't keep hold of the triangle and Siggas manages to pass to side control!

Siggas is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Godley looks calm but he's in trouble here. Siggas gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Godley is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Siggas lets go of the hold and Godley can pop his arm back in it's socket.
