Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Filho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and julio rodrigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Filho might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Californication. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rodrigo looks for a takedown but Filho sprawls well.
julio rodrigo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
rodrigo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Filho stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Filho wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Filho. No joy for rodrigo on that attempt.
Cesar Filho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of julio rodrigo.
Filho avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Filho blocks a head kick by rodrigo.
Horrible takedown by rodrigo or perhaps it was just good defense by Filho which made him look bad.
Filho checks the leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
rodrigo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Filho swivels and escapes.
Filho drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
rodrigo looks gassed!
Filho has an Americana. rodrigo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Filho is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Filho hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
