Munch with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and Munch moves into the clinch.

Munch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but THOMPSON manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Munch has THOMPSON in his guard.

THOMPSON drops back looking for a leg! Munch is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Munch manages to kick THOMPSON off! THOMPSON jumps back into Munch's guard.

THOMPSON drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and THOMPSON jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Munch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with THOMPSON. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

THOMPSON drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. THOMPSON seems to have locked his on tight now - Munch screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for THOMPSON, as he picks up the win!
