The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Tank Engine shoots in for a takedown but Rivers shows good takedown defense.
No luck for The Tank Engine with that takedown attempt.
Rivers stuffs the takedown attempt from The Tank Engine. The Tank Engine gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas The Tank Engine. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The Tank Engine uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rivers.
Thomas The Tank Engine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Tank Engine takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The Tank Engine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rivers avoids it really well and circles away.
Rivers fails to land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by The Tank Engine or perhaps it was just good defense by Rivers which made him look bad.
The Tank Engine ducks under a wild hook from Rivers.
Rivers throws out a loose jab but The Tank Engine uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rivers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rivers wants it to stay on the feet.
The Tank Engine looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rivers is fending him off so far but The Tank Engine persists. Nope, Rivers circles away and we're back to standing.
Rivers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The Tank Engine tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rivers swivels and escapes.
The Tank Engine is breathing heavily.
The Tank Engine takes a jab right on the kisser.

Rivers throws a body punch but The Tank Engine moves out of range.
Rivers bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The Tank Engine takes one to the side of the head.

Rivers steps into range and cracks The Tank Engine with a monster punch that buckles his knees! The Tank Engine flops backwards and Rivers dives into his guard looking to finish!


The Tank Engine is rocked!
Rivers advances to half guard.
Oh The Tank Engine is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rivers maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! The Tank Engine could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Rivers has cracked it and The Tank Engine is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Rivers!
