Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Greed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Saki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greed's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, James Brown - Living In America . Saki has chosen Ramble On -- Led Zepplin as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greed lands a jab.
Saki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Greed is fending him off so far but Saki persists. Nope, Greed circles away and we're back to standing.

Greed throws a right hand that misses
and Saki counters with a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Saki counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Saki.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Greed can't keep his opponent in guard - Saki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Saki is taking a breather. Greed says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Roberto Saki was stalling too much, according to the referee.

and Saki counters with a shoot takedown. Greed fights it but they end up in guard.

Greed connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Saki momentarily.
Greed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Saki dives in and grabs Greed's left leg, looking for a takedown. Greed pushes down on Saki's head and hops out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Roberto Saki hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Greed takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Greed is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Saki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
