Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wild Wes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vitor Silva!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wes misses with a body kick.
Wes misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely.
Silva keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Wes misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Wes which made him look bad.
Wes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Wes throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wes tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wes to the ground. Wes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wes tries a head kick but it misses.

That kick from Wes tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Wes.

Silva drives through and clinches with Wes against the cage.
Silva prevents Wes from breaking the clinch.
Wes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Wes tries to break the clinch but Silva is controlling the position.

Wes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Wes tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wild Wes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Silva.
Wes takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses.
Wes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Wes looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Silva paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Silva feints a jab promting Wes to slip. Silva then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wes slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wes cracks Silva with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wes throws a half hearted mid kick.
Some wild striking there from Wes.
Wild Wes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Silva has taken the fight to the clinch.
Silva throws an elbow that misses.
Silva fails to pull guard.
Silva creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Wes's defenses.
Silva is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wes pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Silva connects with a knee to the head.

Silva ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silva no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Wes decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wes throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva tries for a takedown but Wes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively.

Wes throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Wes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Silva holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Wes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Silva manages to pull guard.

Wes stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Silva closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wes quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wes is trying to stand.
Wes avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Silva.
Wes pushes Silva off looking to stand but Silva dives back in and keeps control.

Silva thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Wes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wes kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wes tries to break the clinch but Silva is controlling the position.

Wes is pressed up against the cage. Silva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wes down to the mat. Wes avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wes's waist but Wes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Silva lands a nice short elbow.

Silva is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wes will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
