Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Beebus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cass Pennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beebus comes into the arena with I'm about to WHOOP yo ACE! blaring out of the sound system. Dave Beebus has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pennant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beebus circles away quickly and effectively.
Pennant darts in trying to clinch
and Beebus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A shot to the liver by Pennant. Beautiful body shot.
Beebus shoots for a double leg takedown but Pennant sprawls well. He's pushed Beebus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Beebus closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pennant to the mat! Pennant manages to get full guard.
Beebus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Beebus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pennant works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Beebus is looking to work some ground and pound but Pennant has wrist control.
Pennant looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beebus is one step ahead there.
Beebus passes Pennant's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Beebus is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Beebus is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Beebus lands with a punch from half guard.
Beebus lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Pennant avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Beebus.

Pennant keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Beebus throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Beebus moves nicely into side control.
Beebus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pennant knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Beebus working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Beebus fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Beebus cracks Pennant with an elbow. That is naaassty.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pennant can do anything to dispel that myth.
Beebus looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Beebus tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Pennant is pushing Beebus's head away, looking to escape. Beebus manages to hold on to the position though.
Beebus grinds an elbow into Pennant's temple.
An elbow from Beebus crashes against the mat.
Pennant is trying to get back to his feet.
Beebus fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Pennant is looking for a sweep.
Beebus creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pennant sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Pennant takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Beebus scores with a couple of short elbows.
Pennant is rocked!

Beebus scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Pennant is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Beebus can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
