The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Debourgh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matola tries to bench press Debourgh off him but Debourgh keeps the position.
Matola is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Matola manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Debourgh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Matola keeps working.
Matola is trying to stand up here but Debourgh is controlling him well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Matola throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Debourgh stumbling backwards into the cage! Debourgh bounces back off the cage towards Matola, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Matola lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Matola celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
