Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joms Lampong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamorou Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takamura comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cascabel kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mamorou Takamura looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lampong fails to land the takedown.
Mamorou Takamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takamura looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lampong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Takamura napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lampong moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Lampong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Takamura for as long as he can get away with.

Lampong has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lampong takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lampong's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Horrible takedown by Lampong or perhaps it was just good defense by Takamura which made him look bad.

Takamura gets caught flat footed, as Lampong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lampong stands and throws Takamura's legs to the side, diving into side control.
You can see the frustration on Takamura's face as Lampong controls the position.
Takamura wants to get back to his feet but Lampong is dominant here and he's now got Takamura's back!
Takamura takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lampong is hanging on to Takamura's back as he tries to escape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lampong slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Joms Lampong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Joms Lampong has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Lampong has taken the fight to the clinch.
Takamura prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lampong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Takamura is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lampong is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Takamura gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Takamura is trying to break free.

Lampong turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lampong manages to end up in side control.

Lampong is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Takamura is trying to escape and Lampong transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Takamura is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lampong! Very nice indeed!
