Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kileki Kawike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilbur Apae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawike comes to the cage accompanied by Anthrax w/ Public Enemy - Bring the Noise. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apae rushes Kawike and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Apae throws a punch but it's blocked by Kawike.
Apae has a couple of punches blocked by Kawike.
Kawike avoiding damage.
A body shot lands from Kawike.
Kawike pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Apae is looking to clinch.
Kawike looks to score with a jab to the body but Apae is just out of range.
Kawike throws a jab when Apae was well out of range.
Kawike looks to land a left hand but Apae moved out of range nicely.
Kawike keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kawike throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Apae is looking to clinch.
Apae lands with an uppercut that bounces Kawike off the cage and back into rage.
Kawike moves into range and connects with a jab.
Apae misses with a hook.

Kawike throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Apae ducks under a wild hook from Kawike.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kawike. Apae does a little dance to reset his feet.
Apae tries to clinch up but Kawike circles away and keeps his distance.
Apae takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kawike swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kawike looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Apae is fending him off so far but Kawike persists. Nope, Apae circles away and we're back to standing.
Apae throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A big right from Apae misses.
Apae comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Apae uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kawike.
A looping hook to the body misses from Apae. Kawike does a little dance to reset his feet.

Apae ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Apae misses with a combination
and Kawike counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Apae looks to throw the jab but Kawike is out of range.
Kawike missing with a left hand there. Apae was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kawike scores with a jab to the head.
Wilbur Apae is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kawike blocks a jab.
Kawike drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kawike wants to control from the top but Apae keeps moving.
Kawike advances to half guard.

Kawike is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kawike is working for a kimura but Apae is defending it quite comfortably.
Kawike seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Kawike thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Apae's head.
Kawike frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kawike is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Kawike!
