The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gunderson's calf.
Bowman chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bowman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gunderson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bowman.
Gunderson avoids the head kick by Bowman.
Bowman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gunderson on the side of the head.
Bowman fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bowman goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bowman scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Pete Bowman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunderson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bowman circles away.
Bowman scores with a hook to the body. Gunderson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Bowman throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gunderson.
Bowman scores with a kick to the midsection.
Gunderson looks gassed!
Bowman connects with a combination that backs up Gunderson into the cage. Bowman lands a flurry of punches that gets past Gunderson's guard. Gunderson is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Bowman bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
