The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gable is defended easily by Lesnar.

Gable shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lesnar's guard.
Gable is in close to Lesnar's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gable has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lesnar wants to get back to his feet but Gable is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Gable postures up and lands a big shot to Lesnar's brow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gable content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Gable lands a couple of elbows.
Gable working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lesnar's head.
Gable cracks Lesnar with a solid left hand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gable keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lesnar's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gable is working Lesnar over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Lesnar has momentary wrist control but Gable slips an elbow through the middle.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Gable looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Lesnar can't hide his disappointment, as Gable celebrates the victory.
