The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaeger tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Thompson is able to avoid easily.
Thompson looks for a takedown but Jaeger sprawls well.
Thompson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jaeger finds it's way round the side to connect with Thompson's head.

It looks like Henry Thompson has been cut.
No joy there for Thompson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jaeger lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Jaeger throws a wild body kick that Thompson sees coming a mile off.
Thompson misses with a wild combination.
Thompson shoots in for a takedown but Jaeger shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jaeger uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thompson.

and Jaeger counters with a nice uppercut.

Thompson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Thompson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Thompson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jaeger throws a leg kick but Thompson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Jaeger misses with a lunging right hand
and Thompson counters with a three punch combo that has Jaeger backing up. Jaeger nods at Thompson to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Jaeger counters with a nice body shot.
Henry Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson looks gassed!
Jaeger attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Jaeger throws a sloppy head kick and Thompson moves out of range easily.

Jaeger is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Henry Thompson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Jaeger feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Thompsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jaeger drops Thompson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Thompson! Jaeger dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
