Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Aurelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Sokoudjou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aurelius's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Requiem For A Dream . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aurelius uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sokoudjou.
Sokoudjou defending well as Aurelius loads up on a big left hand.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sokoudjou. That's going to slow Aurelius down.

and Sokoudjou counters with a nice body kick.

Aurelius closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sokoudjou regains full guard. Nicely done.
Aurelius throws and elbow that misses. Sokoudjou uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Aurelius's guard. Nice move by Sokoudjou!

Sokoudjou drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Aurelius manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sokoudjou has Aurelius in his guard.

Sokoudjou had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aurelius defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aurelius accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Aurelius knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sokoudjou on the ground.

Oh but Sokoudjou is tightening it up a little... Aurelius has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Aurelius reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Aurelius taps out! nice BJJ there by Sokoudjou!
