Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson is looking to slow Micks down with leg kicks.
Micks misses with a hook. Anderson ducked under it nicely.
Anderson throws a sloppy head kick and Micks moves out of range easily.
Micks throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Anderson moves out of range of the strikes.
Anderson lands a head kick. Micks smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Anderson scores with a nice body kick.
Micks swats away the attempt to clinch by Anderson.
Anderson misses with a low kick.
Anderson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Anderson throws a head kick that Micks semi-blocks.
Micks shoots in looking for a takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl out of it but Micks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson wants to clinch.
Micks misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Micks throws a right hand that misses
and Anderson counters with a thumping low kick.
Micks is trying hard to land a takedown here. Anderson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Anderson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Micks momentarily.
Micks gets tackled into the cage by Anderson. Anderson maintains the clinch.
Anderson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Micks avoids it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Nice body punch from Anderson - that landed with a thud.
Anderson working Micks over with knees to the body.
Micks is trying to break the clinch but Anderson has him pressed against the cage.
Anderson lands a nice shot to the body.
Micks on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Micks blocking some punches.
Anderson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Anderson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Micks's face.
Anderson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Micks is defending well for now.
Anderson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Anderson slows down the pace here.
Micks blocks an elbow strike from Anderson.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Micks has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anderson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sam Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fred Micks.
Micks breaks from the clinch.
A low kick from Micks misses
and Anderson counters with a big head kick but Micks shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Micks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Micks looks gassed!
Micks steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Anderson. That one must have hurt.
Sam Anderson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Anderson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Anderson lands a big head kick that sends Micks tumbling to the mat! Anderson takes a step backwards and waves Micks back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Micks is rocked!
Anderson throws a series of punches but Micks moves out of range.
Micks is still on wobbly legs! Can Anderson finish him?
Anderson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Micks seems to have recovered his senses.
Anderson connects with a solid leg kick.
Anderson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Micks steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Anderson. That one must have hurt.
Micks chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Anderson can pounce on him.
Nice uppercut there from Anderson.

Anderson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Micks's head backwards.
Anderson throws a body punch but Micks moves out of range.
Anderson gets in close and tags Micks with a short punch that almost sends Micks to the mat! Oh Micks is in big trouble! He turns his back on Anderson, trying to create some distance but Anderson rushes him, striking wildly and Micks goes down! The referee tackles Anderson into the cage to end the fight! Anderson is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Anderson!
