Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Im Cool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mantana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mantana has chosen Nino Rota-Waltz as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mantana scores with a head kick. Cool tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Nice takedown defense from Mantana. No joy for Cool on that attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Mantana.
Mantana avoids the head kick by Cool.
Mantana fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Cool wants to clinch.
Mantana avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Cool shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mantana napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cool is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mantana has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cool trying to control the action but Mantana is working from the bottom.
Mantana holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

Mantana pushes Cool away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cool gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Cool wants to control but Mantana is keeping him busy.
Mantana wants to control but Cool postures up.
Mantana is trying to buck Cool off.
Cool is breathing heavily.
Cool is putting a hurting on Mantana here, landing some big shots from side control.
You can see the frustration on Mantana's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mantana is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mantana tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mantana wants to get back to his feet but Cool drags him back down.

Cool stands up.
Mantana misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mantana tries to clinch up but Cool circles away and keeps his distance.

Cool fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mantana, pushing him back against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cool breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cool shoots for a double leg takedown but Mantana sprawls well. He's pushed Cool's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cool closes the distance and clinches up with Mantana, looking for a takedown. Cool pushes Mantana against the cage but Mantana circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Im Cool. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mantana ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Mantana moves into the clinch successfully.

Mantana breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cool takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Cool bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Cool has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mantana!
Mantana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cool. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cool looking to control but Mantana is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mantana is wriggling around trying to escape.

Cool working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mantana turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Cool off and cradles Mantana's limp body as Cool celebrates with his corner.
