Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Klochko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BRUNO CORE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CORE has chosen Emicida - Triunfo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Vladimir Klochko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to BRUNO CORE's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vladimir Klochko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, BRUNO CORE!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

CORE clinches up against the cage.
Klochko is trying to drag CORE to the mat but CORE just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

CORE breaks the clinch.

CORE moves into the clinch successfully.
CORE creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Klochko's defenses.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
CORE prevents a takedown attempt there.

Klochko has clasped his hands together around CORE's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
CORE is looking for a sweep.

OK we're going to have a standup here. BRUNO CORE hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

CORE shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Klochko napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Klochko is looking to reverse the position.

CORE stands up and beckons Klochko to his feet.
CORE lands with a slapping head kick.
Vladimir Klochko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A kick lands to the mid section there for CORE.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

CORE shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Klochko napping and manages to drive through into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

BRUNO CORE dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



The fight moves into the clinch position.
CORE gets underhooks to prevent Klochko's takedown attempt.
Klochko has CORE pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. CORE manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

CORE decides to pull guard.
CORE keeping moving, preventing Klochko from controlling successfully.
CORE not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Klochko perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

BRUNO CORE showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Klochko trying to keep a closed guard but CORE is proving a slippery customer.
Klochko doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Klochko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Klochko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for CORE!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

CORE is trying desperately to improve position.

CORE is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

CORE moves into range and clinches up with Klochko.
Klochko looking for a takedown.

CORE jumps guard and drags Klochko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Klochko trying to control the position from guard on top but CORE is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Klochko throws a big right hand that misses.
CORE is trying to control the position but Klochko postures up.
Klochko controls from within his opponent's guard.
Klochko is looking to stand up but CORE won't let him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

CORE shoots in and gets a takedown into Klochko's guard.

Klochko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. CORE is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Klochko.
Klochko tries to buck CORE off but CORE is having none of it.
CORE scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Klochko to see if he's OK.
Vladimir Klochko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Klochko is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

BRUNO CORE comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well CORE has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
