The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaPointe drops his hands momentarily and Matias takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Pierre LaPointe has been cut.
Matias lands a jab to the nose.

Matias lands a left and a right that send LaPointe crashing to the mat, dazed. Matias thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

LaPointe is rocked!
Matias changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh LaPointe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
LaPointe takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
LaPointe seems to have got his legs back now.

LaPointe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Matias.
LaPointe takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Matias lands with an uppercut that bounces LaPointe off the cage and back into rage.
Matias steps in with a hook that catches LaPointe right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Matias follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! LaPointe looks absolutely devastated.
