The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalamar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kalamar moves to clinch but Szczygiel breaks away

and Szczygiel moves into the clinch.
Szczygiel holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Szczygiel pulls guard effortlessly.
Kalamar trying to stand up but can't free himself from Szczygiel's guard.
Kalamar should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Szczygiel is controlling Kalamar's posture.
Szczygiel wants to sweep but no luck.
Kalamar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Szczygiel wants to sweep here but Kalamar controlling him for the moment.
Kalamar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Szczygiel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Szczygiel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kalamar is pushing down on Szczygiel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Szczygiel is fighting to maintain full guard but Kalamar has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kalamar is keen to just control but Szczygiel is a slippery customer.

Szczygiel has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Kalamar. Oh but Szczygiel has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Kalamar goes limp - he's gone! Szczygiel jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
