Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between King Heister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boris Boyko!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyko closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Heister quickly recovers to half guard.
Boyko wants to stand but Heister has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Heister is looking to control Boyko's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Heister avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boyko missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Heister is trying to maintain the position but Boyko is very close to passing his half guard.
Heister on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Heister tries to get out of the position.
Boyko wants to stand up but Heister is controlling the position.
Boyko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Heister slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Heister pushes Boyko off and scrambles back to his feet.
Heister drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like King Heister has been cut.
Heister throws a solid leg kick but Boyko takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Heister.
Boris Boyko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyko throws a hook to the side of Heister's head but Heister sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boyko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Heister manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boyko shoots in and drives through. Heister sprawls well.
Boyko throws a monster overhand right that drops Heister! Boyko follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
