Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Garry Dupuis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyon Du (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dupuis comes to the cage accompanied by Icepick - Born to Crush You. The crowd seem to be enjoying Du's choice of entrance music: Du Hast. Lyon Du has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dupuis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Du's guard.
Dupuis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Du is keeping the position for now.
Dupuis tries to stand but Du is controlling from the bottom.
Du is trying to keep Dupuis in close.
Du wants to sweep but no luck.
Dupuis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dupuis wants to pass the guard but Du is keeping the position.
Du is trying to control the position from the bottom.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Du holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dupuis thows a body shot but no joy.
Dupuis tries to clinch but Du moves out of range.
Dupuis jabs at Du's body.

Dupuis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Du is fending him off so far but Dupuis persists. Nope, Du circles away and we're back to standing.
Du takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Dupuis jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dupuis shoots in and drives through. Du sprawls well.
Dupuis is breathing heavily.
Dupuis throws a series of punches but Du avoids them all with ease.

Du has Dupuis up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee calls for Du to work.
Dupuis tries to work over Du's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dupuis is pressed up against the cage. Du has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dupuis down to the mat. Dupuis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Du scores with a takedown into Dupuis's guard.

Du thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dupuis pulls Du in close to prevent any damage.
Dupuis keeping moving, preventing Du from controlling successfully.

Du seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Du postures up.
Du sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dupuis's guard.

Du is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Du is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dupuis is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
