Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edilson Rubiera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riddick Wannick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rubiera comes to the cage accompanied by ratamahatta. The crowd seem to be enjoying Wannick's choice of entrance music: Green Day - Basket Case. Riddick Wannick has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Edilson Rubiera's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubiera swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Wannick to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Edilson Rubiera has been cut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rubiera crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wannick - the referee stops the clock and Rubiera gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wannick. Rubiera manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Wannick throws a sloppy head kick and Rubiera moves out of range easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rubiera has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wannick finds it's way round the side to connect with Rubiera's head.

and Wannick counters with a good low kick that Rubiera was not able to check.

Rubiera walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Wannick lands a head kick. Rubiera smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Edilson Rubiera's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Riddick Wannick seems to be getting the better of the standup.

The fighters circling - Rubiera throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
