Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viliam Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirek Gabrijel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Richard scores with a nice body kick.

Richard tries to close the distance and clinch but Gabrijel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Richard could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Gabrijel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Richard sprawls well initially but Gabrijel persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gabrijel is thwarting Richard 's attempts to control the position.
Gabrijel takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Gabrijel with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Richard is looking for a sweep. Gabrijel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gabrijel lands a nice short elbow.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Gabrijel shoots in and bounces Richard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Richard throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Gabrijel thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

I looks like Gabrijel might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Gabrijel goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Richard has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gabrijel but great work by Richard .

Richard is breathing heavily.
Gabrijel looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Mirek Gabrijel has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Gabrijel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Richard gets tackled into the cage by Gabrijel . Gabrijel maintains the clinch.
Richard has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gabrijel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Richard is trying to maintain a safe position but Gabrijel gets an underhook and turns Richard into the cage.
Richard jumps guard but Gabrijel stands there with Richard around his waist. Richard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gabrijel is on top in guard.

The referee asks Gabrijel politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gabrijel prefers to stall for the moment though.
Richard takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Richard is letting Gabrijel control him for a moment.

Gabrijel is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Richard is trying to escape and Gabrijel transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Richard is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gabrijel ! Very nice indeed!
