PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davis Paul Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carvalho comes into the arena with Notorious BIG - Victory blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho tries to clinch but Marcus is having none of it.

Carvalho closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Marcus did well to prevent Carvalho getting side control.
Carvalho thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Marcus is not content to let Carvalho control the position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carvalho is landing with some decent strikes but Marcus is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee warns Marcus that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Carvalho cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
