Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yaw Yan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Cummings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yan comes into the arena with bad romance blaring out of the sound system. Roger Cummings has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Yaw Yan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yaw Yan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Yan.
Yan moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Yan slips a jab from Cummings.
Yan throws a nice head kick!
Yan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cummings's head.
The crowd cheers as Cummings lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yan doesn't seem phased though.
Cummings jabs Yan to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Cummings misses with a right hand
and Yan counters with a body kick that stops Cummings in his tracks momentarily.
Cummings avoids the head kick by Yan.
Yan tries for a takedown but Cummings sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Yaw Yan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cummings pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cummings lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yan circles away quickly and effectively.
Cummings stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yan.
Yan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cummings jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cummings blocks a head kick by Yan.
Cummings misses with a body punch
and Yan counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Cummings keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cummings.
Yan lands with a nice body kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Yan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cummings.
Cummings throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yan moves into range and connects with a jab.
Cummings showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yan.
Cummings misses with a straight left.
Cummings slaps away a takedown attempt from Yan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yaw Yan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Yan. Cummings shrugs it off though.
A combination from Yan does no damage.
Cummings throws a combination that misses
and Yan counters with an outside leg kick.
Yan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cummings takes a kick to the side of the head.
Cummings connects with a crisp jab.
Cummings lands with an overhand left.
Yan slips a straight right by Cummings.
Yan throws a head kick that Cummings semi-blocks.
Yan avoids the body shot from Cummings.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yan shoots in looking for a takedown but Cummings manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Yan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cummings just misses with a punch to the body.
Cummings looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cummings crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Yan - the referee stops the clock and Cummings gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Yan. Cummings manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Yan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Yan lands a jab to the nose.
Yan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Yan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Yan throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Yan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cummings knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cummings is trying to improve his position.
Yan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cummings is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
An elbow from Yan crashes against the mat.

Yan in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cummings struggling a bit here.
Cummings tries to bench press Yan off him but Yan keeps the position.
Yan is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cummings is trying to escape and Yan transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cummings is forced to tap! Nice work there by Yan! Very nice indeed!
