Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Claude Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Pineda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes to the cage accompanied by Out Of The Box- DL Incognito. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pineda lunges at Thompson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thompson's hand.

Pineda scores with the left hand. Thompson knows he should have avoided that one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thompson is trying to push Pineda away but Pineda has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Pineda is trying to trip Thompson. He has hold of a leg but Thompson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Pineda persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pineda is pushing down on Thompson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Thompson is fighting to maintain full guard but Pineda has managed to sneak the leg through.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pineda in particular looking to stall.
Thompson has hold of Pineda's hands but Pineda slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pineda connects with a nice short shot to Thompson's temple.
Pineda seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Pineda trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Pineda loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Thompson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Pineda land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Pineda stands and salutes the crowd.
