Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Snap Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matty Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Bottoms Up by Trey Songz f. Nicki Minaj. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Snap Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matty Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a hook to the body
and Davis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Johnson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis.
Davis fails in his attempt to clinch.
Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Davis, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Davis counters by clinching up.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Davis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Davis gets slowly back to his feet.

Davis rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Davis is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Johnson.
Davis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Snap Davis will probably get the nod.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Johnson and Davis goes tumbling to the canvas! Johnson follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Johnson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Davis is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
