Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffe Zampietre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson moves into range and clinches up with Zampietre.
Wilson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Zampietre is defending well for now.

Wilson is pressed up against the cage. Zampietre has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wilson down to the mat. Wilson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Wilson has gone for a leg lock! Zampietre slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wilson's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Zampietre is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Wilson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zampietre gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zampietre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wilson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zampietre!

Wilson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Zampietre is trying to escape the mount but Wilson keeps good control and instead manages to take Zampietre's back.

Wilson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Zampietre is defending well though. Wilson let's go of the attempt for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
