Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Charillos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riddick Braddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Braddock forces Charillos back against the cage and clinches.
Braddock works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Braddock misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Charillos.

Braddock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Charillos with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Braddock is looking to score with low kicks.
Charillos throws a lazy uppercut
and Braddock counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Charillos lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Braddock needs to keep his hands up - Charillos had a free shot at his head there.
Charillos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Braddock. Braddock circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Braddock shoots in but Charillos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Braddock slips a jab and a cross from Charillos.

Charillos throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Braddock tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Charillos is in Braddock's guard.
Charillos wants to control from the top but Braddock keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Charillos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Braddock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Charillos won't allow Braddock to sweep him here.

Charillos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Charillos wants to control from the top but Braddock keeps moving.
Charillos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Braddock's guard.
Charillos perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Charillos is keen to just control but Braddock is a slippery customer.
Charillos slows the pace down in half guard.
Braddock is refusing to be controlled, as Charillos sits in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Braddock can do anything to dispel that myth.

Braddock trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Braddock is desperately trying to improve his position but Charillos has a good base and remains in mount.
Braddock is trying to stand.
Braddock is squirming around, avoiding Charillos's attempts to control the action.

Charillos's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Alex Charillos just wasn't active enough.

Charillos throws the left hand but Braddock avoids the punch easily.
Braddock tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Charillos swivels and escapes.
Charillos misses the shot to the body.
Braddock throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Braddock takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Braddock defending well as Charillos loads up on a big left hand.
Braddock will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Alex Charillos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Riddick Braddock.

Charillos looks to land a left hand but Braddock moved out of range nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charillos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Braddock stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Braddock shoots in looking for a takedown. Charillos tries to sprawl out of it but Braddock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Charillos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Braddock takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Braddock is rocked!

It looks like Riddick Braddock has been cut.

Charillos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Braddock's guard.
Braddock is still in real trouble! Can Charillos finish him?
Charillos's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Braddock can't keep his opponent in guard - Charillos advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Braddock wants to get back to full guard.
Braddock seems to have recovered his senses.

Charillos maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Braddock could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Charillos has cracked it and Braddock is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Charillos!
