Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mav Brisk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kixo Caludo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brisk misses with an uppercut.
Caludo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Brisk throws a right and a left that Caludo avoids nicely.

Caludo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Caludo lands in his opponent's guard.

Brisk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Caludo on the ground.

Caludo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Caludo has control of Brisk's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brisk regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Brisk tries to hold on but Caludo postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brisk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Caludo moves away.

Brisk swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Caludo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Caludo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brisk's guard.

Caludo gets to his feet - Brisk follows without any prompting.
A slow jab from Brisk misses its intended target.
Brisk tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Caludo was well out of range. Poor timing from Brisk.
Caludo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Caludo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brisk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Caludo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Caludo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kixo Caludo has got the better of the ground game so far.

Brisk tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Caludo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Caludo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

A swing and a miss from Caludo.
Caludo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Caludo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brisk's waist but Brisk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Caludo off to one side.
No joy there for Brisk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mav Brisk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caludo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Brisk misses with a series of wild punches.
Brisk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Caludo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Caludo is breathing heavily.

Brisk lands a left and a right that send Caludo crashing to the mat, dazed. Brisk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Kixo Caludo has been cut.
Brisk throws a wild body kick that Caludo sees coming a mile off.
Brisk lands a head shot.
Caludo is still on wobbly legs! Can Brisk finish him?
Mav Brisk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brisk connects with a superb combination that knocks Caludo out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Brisk before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Caludo!
