Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sd Sdf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reynold Blanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sdf comes to the cage accompanied by whip my hair. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Reynold Blanco!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco scores with a leg kick.
Sdf doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Blanco counters with a straight right hand.
Blanco lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Sdf shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Blanco counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Sdf really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Blanco.
Blanco is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Blanco lands a knee to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Blanco will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sdf up against the cage.

Sdf is trying to drag Blanco to the mat but Blanco just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Blanco wants to sweep here but Sdf controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Blanco wants to improve his position but Sdf is controlling well.
Blanco is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Sdf is thwarting Blanco's attempts to control the position.
Blanco gets back to full guard.

Blanco looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blanco wants to stand and escape but Sdf is having none of it.
Sdf cracks Blanco with a solid left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Sdf's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Blanco throws a hook to the side of Sdf's head but Sdf sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Sdf shoots in and gets a takedown into Blanco's guard.

Blanco looking for subs off his back but Sdf has passed one foot through into half guard.
Blanco tries to roll over but Sdf keeps him under control.

Blanco is trying to get back to full guard.

Blanco misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Blanco is not content to let Sdf control the position.
Blanco regains full guard. Nicely done.
Blanco is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sdf dives into side control.

Blanco manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sdf's best efforts.

Sdf is looking to work some ground and pound but Blanco has wrist control.
Blanco thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Blanco is looking to stand up but Sdf isn't so interested in that idea.
Sdf wants to stand but Blanco is controlling his posture from full guard.
Blanco manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Blanco wants to control the pace but Sdf is squirming around nicely.

Blanco working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Blanco jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sdf is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sdf and Blanco has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Blanco stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Sdf needs to keep his hands up - Blanco had a free shot at his head there.
Sdf shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Blanco counters with a nice uppercut.

and Blanco counters with a good low kick that Sdf was not able to check.
Blanco falls off balance throwing a combination

and Sdf counters with a takedown into side control.
Blanco can't do much from the bottom here.
Blanco gets back to half guard.
Blanco slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Blanco uses the cage to get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Left hook, right uppercut from Blanco.
Blanco lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Blanco lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sd Sdf will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Blanco has closed the distance and engaged Sdf in a clinch.

Sdf gets caught flat footed, as Blanco shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Blanco trying to control the position from guard on top but Sdf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Blanco decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Reynold Blanco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blanco lands with a thumping leg kick.

Blanco gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Blanco creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Sdf has hold of one of Blanco's legs. Blanco is fighting the takedown attempt but Sdf gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Sdf got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blanco has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sdf has managed to get both his arms back between Blanco's legs - danger averted.

Sdf drops back, looking for a kneebar! Blanco looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Blanco looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Blanco!

Blanco lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Blanco.

Blanco swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sdf.

Sdf doesn't succeed with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Sdf shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Blanco counters with a series of strikes. Sdf will be more careful next time no doubt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blanco will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blanco thows a body kick. Sdf tries to catch it but that hurt him.

And that's the end of the fight!
Reynold Blanco comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Blanco has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
