The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TexHuk scores with a leg kick.

TexHuk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A head kick from TexHuk lands but Emeliyanenko takes it in his stride.

It looks like Fedor Emeliyanenko has been cut.
TexHuk throws a nice head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Emeliyanenko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from TexHuk.

TexHuk lands a left and a right that send Emeliyanenko crashing to the mat, dazed. TexHuk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
TexHuk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Emeliyanenko swats him away and circles back towards the center.
An inside leg kick lands from TexHuk.
Emeliyanenko is breathing heavily.

TexHuk tries to clinch but Emeliyanenko moves out of range.

Emeliyanenko gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Emeliyanenko tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but TexHuk is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Emeliyanenko buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Emeliyanenko!! Emeliyanenko is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. TexHuk throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
