Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francis Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rodriguez misses with a hook
and Murphy counters with a good, hard body kick but Rodriguez shrugs it off.
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Murphy as he jumps to the side.
Rodriguez throws a head kick that misses.
Murphy lands with a hook. Rodriguez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Murphy feints a jab promting Rodriguez to slip. Murphy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rodriguez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Francis Rodriguez has been cut.
Murphy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rodriguez blocks the body kick.
Murphy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Murphy.
Rodriguez throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rodriguez throws a combination that misses
enabling Murphy to counter with a crisp jab.
Brandon Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rodriguez dives in and grabs Murphy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Murphy pushes down on Rodriguez's head and hops out.
A nice inside leg kick there by Murphy. That's going to slow Rodriguez down.
Rodriguez looks gassed!
Rodriguez throws a solid leg kick but Murphy takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rodriguez.
Murphy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Murphy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rodriguez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Murphy drops Rodriguez with a beautiful combination! Rodriguez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Murphy is looking for the KO!
Murphy rushes Rodriguez with punches - Rodriguez moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Rodriguez goes down! Murphy follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
