Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yason Tupaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blaque Kreed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tupaz comes to the cage accompanied by Step Up. Blaque Kreed has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Yason Tupaz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yason Tupaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blaque Kreed!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kreed misses with a takedown attempt
and Tupaz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tupaz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tupaz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kreed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kreed shoots and misses
and Tupaz counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Tupaz throws out a loose jab but Kreed uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Tupaz counters with a body kick.
Yason Tupaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blaque Kreed.
Tupaz lands a jab-cross combination.
Tupaz misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Kreed counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tupaz controls Kreed momentarily but Kreed frees himself.
Kreed trying to control the position from guard on top but Tupaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tupaz is trying to control the position but Kreed postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tupaz tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tupaz keeping moving, preventing Kreed from controlling successfully.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kreed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kreed drops back looking for a leg! Tupaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tupaz manages to kick Kreed off! Kreed jumps back into Tupaz's guard.
Kreed trying to control the position from guard on top but Tupaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kreed is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tupaz wants to sweep but no luck.
Kreed trying to control but Tupaz is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Tupaz counters with a nice leg kick.

and Tupaz counters with a three punch combo that has Kreed backing up. Kreed nods at Tupaz to acknowledge the strikes.

and Kreed counters with a takedown into side control.

Kreed thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Tupaz is looking to regain half guard here but Kreed keeps moving and retains side control.

Kreed working away.
Tupaz is looking for a sweep.
Tupaz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tupaz is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Kreed is trying to get an arm triangle but Tupaz is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kreed has hold of Tupaz's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tupaz tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kreed cranks the arm and Tupaz screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tupaz, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
