Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Bobadilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Umberto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Umberto has chosen Perry Como - Magic Moments as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Umberto.

Umberto stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Bobadilla shoots in and gets a takedown into Umberto's guard.

Bobadilla is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Umberto is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Umberto has escaped and now he's on top!

Umberto misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Bobadilla takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Umberto lands a decent elbow from side control.
Bobadilla throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Bobadilla is looking to regain half guard here but Umberto keeps moving and retains side control.

Umberto stands up and beckons Bobadilla to his feet.

Umberto in side control lands a decent elbow.
Umberto looks up at the clock and then as Bobadilla takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Umberto smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Umberto wants to control but Bobadilla is keeping him busy.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bobadilla is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Umberto trying to control the action but Bobadilla is working from the bottom.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Umberto lands a few punches from side control.

Umberto tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Bobadilla manages to work his way to half guard, despite Umberto's best efforts.
Bobadilla wants to stand back up but Umberto manages to pass into side control.
Umberto cracks Bobadilla with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Umberto swings around for an armbar but Bobadilla sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Umberto's guard.
Umberto tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Bobadilla postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Umberto is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bobadilla, into his guard.
Umberto stands and throws Bobadilla's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Bobadilla on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Bobadilla manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Umberto is looking to advance position but Bobadilla won't allow it.
Bobadilla wants to control but Umberto is keeping busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Umberto is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bobadilla is bucking up trying to escape but Umberto cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Aldo Bobadilla has been cut.
