Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Austenite Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iron comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera - Walk. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rua's choice of entrance music: Metallica- Loverman. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron misses with a combination
enabling Rua to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Austenite Iron has been cut.
Iron falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rua counters with a nice uppercut.
Austenite Iron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rua chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Rua - that will leave a mark!
A low kick from Iron is predictable there
and Rua counters by clinching up.
Rua misses with some punches.
Rua has Iron pressed against the cage.
Iron takes an elbow to the temple.
Iron wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rua lands an elbow inside that Iron shrugs off.
Rua has Iron pushed against the cage.

Rua lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Austenite Iron's cut is getting worse.
Iron is trying to break the clinch but Rua is controlling him.
Rua tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Iron avoids it.
Rua lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
The referee is keeping an eye on Rua - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rua breaks from the clinch.
Rua thows a body kick. Iron tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Rua's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Rua duly obliges.
Iron misses with an uppercut
and Rua counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Iron takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Iron is breathing heavily.
Iron rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rua counters with a nice low kick that buckles Iron's knee momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Iron throws a combination that misses
and Rua counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rua lands an elbow just above Iron 's eye.
Rua is stalling here.
Rua connects with a nasty looking knee right to Iron's face.
Austenite Iron's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Rua lands a nice elbow.
Rua lands a body shot in the clinch.
Iron avoids a wild elbow strike from Rua.
Rua creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Iron's defenses.
Jeez, Austenite Iron's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
A left hand lands to the body for Rua.
Rua lands an elbow that stopped Iron in his tracks for a moment.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Austenite Iron's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
