Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
poraa throws an overhand right that lands on Hughes's shoulder, as Hughes tries to avoid the shot.
Hughes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

poraa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hughes to the mat! Hughes manages to get full guard.
poraa is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Hughes is working an open guard so poraa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

poraa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

poraa is nestled in close to Hughes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

poraa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
poraa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hughes circles away quickly and effectively.

Hughes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hughes there as he acknowledges the shot.

poraa throws a right and a left that Hughes avoids nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
poraa stays in close to Hughes's body and controls the position.

poraa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

poraa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Hughes has left one of his arms exposed and poraa doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Hughes screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
