The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutabega works over Silva's head and body with a nice combination.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rutabega circles away quickly and effectively.
Rutabega ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva throws a right and a left that Rutabega avoids nicely.
Silva throws a right hand that Rutabega ducks under and follows up with a left that Rutabega also avoids with ease.
A punch combination from Rutabega misses.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Rutabega lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Rutabega stalks Silva and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Silva's face. Silva staggers backwards, shaken.
Rutabega sizes up Silva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rutabega paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Silva throws a right hand that Rutabega ducks under and follows up with a left that Rutabega also avoids with ease.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Rutabega.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Rutabega bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Rutabega goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Silva tries to bum rush Rutabega with a series of wild strikes but Rutabega uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rutabega shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Silva eats them both and turns towards Rutabega to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Rutabega jabs Silva right on the nose. Silva blinks but takes it well.
Rutabega throws a shot to the body.

It looks like Paz Silva has been cut.
Rutabega scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Rutabega throws a combination. Silva tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Silva is rocked!
Rutabega is working the combinations to good effect here.
Silva gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rutabega gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
