PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Dibiasse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khaldor Killi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dibiasse comes to the cage accompanied by Cant tell me nuttin. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dibiasse counters with a stiff right hand.
Killi moves to clinch but Dibiasse breaks away
and Dibiasse cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Khaldor Killi has been cut.
Killi has his takedown stuffed
and Dibiasse counters with a straight right hand.

Dibiasse gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dibiasse breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ted Dibiasse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khaldor Killi.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Killi wants to control but Dibiasse passes easily into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dibiasse in particular looking to stall.

Killi wants to get back to full guard but Dibiasse has mounted him!

Dibiasse is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Killi is surviving well by controlling Dibiasse's body position as best he can.
Killi wants to hold on but Dibiasse pushes him away.
Dibiasse scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Killi?

Dibiasse stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

and Dibiasse decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Killi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dibiasse lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Dibiasse's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Killi is trying to maintain the position but Dibiasse is very close to passing his half guard.
Killi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dibiasse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Killi tries to improve his position but instead Dibiasse has taken his back!
Killi is really stuck here.

Dibiasse is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Killi has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dibiasse has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Killi taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dibiasse doesn't care though - he's delighted!
