The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson slips a jab and a cross from Monday.

Monday misses with a looping right.
Anderson Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Monday rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Anderson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Monday missing with a left hand there. Anderson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Anderson takes a swing at Monday's ribcage but misses.
Monday is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Anderson.
Monday throws a lazy right hand but Anderson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Anderson throws a leg kick but Monday moved away.
Anderson darts in trying to clinch
and Monday counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Anderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Monday's jab looks to have found its range, popping Anderson under the eye.
Monday works the jab nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A slow jab from Monday misses its intended target.
Anderson ducks under a wild hook from Monday.
Monday chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Anderson can pounce on him.

Anderson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Monday looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Monday dodges the ground and pound from Anderson.
Monday is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Anderson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Monday avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Anderson.
Anderson advances nicely into full mount.
Anderson working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Monday slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
Anderson thows a huge punch but Monday dodges it nicely.

Anderson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Monday is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
