Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spike Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Planet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Planet swings widly with a right hand
and Planet takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith scores with a one two! Planet had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Planet throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and Planet finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Smith utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Smith is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Smith on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smith tries to get out of the position.

Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Planet doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Planet manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Planet is nestled in close to Smith, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith wants to improve his position but Planet is controlling well.

Smith is bucking up trying to escape but Planet cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Planet takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
BOOM! Planet connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The referee warns Smith that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Smith is rocked!
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Oh Smith is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Smith seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Planet cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Smith tries to hold on but Planet postures up.
Planet postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Smith looks a forlorn figure.

Planet lands a big shot there that rocks Smith but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big strike lands for Planet! That's really hurt Smith and he's turned his back - Planet keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Planet jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
